MS Paint projects in Computer Art

In my Stage III Computer Art class, the students are learning how to use the basic art tools in MS Paint. Some of the tools are the drawing tool (with various brushes), the line tool, the fill tool, and the curve tool. We talked about Mondrian, and then they started work on 3 projects–called Line, Curve, and Landscape. The boys will share their pictures, below:

  • Hi this is Jack P. I would like to share about these pictures. The one on the left  has a bunch of curves. The one on the right has a bunch of lines.
  •  Hi, I am Stephen. These are my pictures I made! I made them on the paint icon witch lets you make shapes and pictures. When I first got on to the icon I had no clue how to use a thing! It was then that Julie taught me how to do it! Then I  made these pictures, the first one is all straight lines and you only use 4 colors (including white) to make it, the second one is just shapes.

  • Hi, I’m Ian. I would like to present my first drawing. One is a blackout house and the other is a house with a door, a tree and the blue part is a chimney. The blackout one is an alive house that has a vein on his face.
